Jack Barsky, (aka Albert Dietrich) was born in East Germany in 1949 and was a KGB-trained sleeper agent. He landed in the U.S. under a false passport to spy on Americans in New York City in the 1970s and 1980s during the Cold War. The KGB spent five years training him and nine other sleeper agents. He spent 16 years under the radar before his cover was blown by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
